Has DSS killed Nnamdi Kanu?

Nnamdi Kanu

DEAR Blog Visitors, It is not my intention to start this blog with such a controversial story as this but I am a journalist and it is my job to report the story the way I got it. Don’t know if it is true but here it goes.
A faction of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has claimed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of IPOB has been
murdered by the DSS.

The group said this is from intelligence reports it got from sympathetic intelligence officers in the agency.

It warned that if the information turns out to be true, it will spell doom for the country, the same way the death of Boko Haram Leader Muhammed Yusu sparked off the violent chapter of the sect.

A release by Uchenna Madu, MASSOB’s Information Officer said the government should be ready for an even bloodier onslaught from MASSOB if Kanu is killed and gave the government an ultimatum to produce him on Monday Nov 23rd 2015 when he is to be arraigned in court or be ready to face the wrath of MASSOB.

The release reads: “Factional Masson has discovered that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu detained by Nigeria has been murdered by DSS in Abuja. Intelligence report by Biafra Intelligence Agency through some operatives that are sympathetic to Biafran groups revealed it to us”.

“Pro Biafran groups may not believe it until Monday 23rd Nov 2015 when Nnamdi Kanu will be arraigned in court. The ugly information we are getting from Abuja is not healthy, we are still waiting till Monday. Nnamdi Kanu as the major arrowhead of current Biafra agitation, Nigeria should be extremely careful on Nnamdi Kanu”.

“The worst mistake Nigeria ever made on Boko Haram is to kill Muhammed Yusuf. With the forceful exit, no executive officer, member or supporter of book haram can undue or neutralize the incantations Yusuf inserted on the terrorist group. Today successive governments of Nigeria have never stopped or quenched the terrorist onslaught of Boko Haram. If Nigeria government extra judicially kill Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria will experience the worst volcanic rebellion and oppression”.

“We love nonviolence and wish to maintain it but Nigeria is pushing us to the wall”.

Austine News Blog could not independently verify the claim at the time of filling the report but a top source in the DSS who spoke on the condition of anonymity denied the report.

“Nnamdi Kanu has not been tortured or killed by the DSS, he has been treated with respect and civility in line with the laws of the land and UN Nations’ charter which abhors torture and extra judicial killing. The DSS is a professional agency and is not known for such dirty and unlawful actions”, the source said.
